Pain is a complex sensory and emotional experience, standard care often only considers the injury without understanding how our body and mind interact sometimes to help us recover quickly but often to disable us through fear and threat produced by the pain. Understanding pain and having a concise and evidence informed plan to address it is essential for recovery. In complex cases addressing body + mind is considered necessary to facilitate recovery and is one of our specialties
